The Strata Group acquires 100% stake in We Are Collider

The Strata Group has acquired 100% of We Are Collider, the brand experience agency known for esports, gaming and consumer engagement work. Terms were not disclosed.

We Are Collider keeps its name and operates as a standalone agency from its existing office. Founder Anton Jerges stays on as CEO and will work with group president Michael Wyrley-Birch on cross-group growth and collaboration. The agency's client list includes Amazon Games, John Lewis and Red Bull.

The strategic pull is international reach. More than 70% of We Are Collider's work is delivered outside the UK, which adds weight to Strata's global delivery. CEO Simon Hambley also pointed to the agency's AI, innovation and behavioural science capability, through its Arq and MARVELs tools, as the part that moves Strata toward a more tech-enabled experiential offer.

Jerges led on culture rather than numbers, citing shared values and a long relationship with Hambley and the team as the reason the deal came together.

This is Strata's second acquisition of the year. In January 2026 it bought Wonderland, the global event agency currently running Cannes Lions events for tech and entertainment brands. The two deals sit inside a clear buy-and-build: unite live communications and experiential skills under one network. The group now spans Strata, venue sourcing agency Trinity, production company ON, and incentive and rewards specialists Element and Sherbet, alongside Wonderland and now We Are Collider. The stated aim is an end-to-end engagement service that is faster and more cost efficient than a client assembling the parts separately.
