Pinnacle Expands Footprint with Acquisition of INNOV8 to Enhance Experiential Marketing Capabilities
Pinnacle has announced the acquisition of INNOV8 INC, a Connecticut-based experiential exhibit and event agency, marking a significant expansion of its integrated marketing platform. This acquisition, which was revealed on March 10, 2026, comes as Pinnacle continues to evolve in the experiential marketing space, having made three acquisitions in less than five years.
Based in Trumbull, Connecticut, INNOV8 has over 40 years of experience in creating strategic and design-focused experiential programmes for a diverse clientele, including fintech leaders like FICO and global innovators such as Yamaha, VSE Aviation, and Teladoc. The addition of INNOV8 will deepen Pinnacle's presence in the Northeast and enhance its production power and intellectual capital, enabling it to deliver scalable solutions for an expanding portfolio of global brand work.
Pinnacle is headquartered in Hillsboro, Oregon, and operates six locations across key U.S. markets. The agency has a long history of shaping memorable brand experiences in various sectors including technology, sports and entertainment, healthcare, and lifestyle. Its impressive client roster features notable names like PlayStation, Adobe, Subway, and Canon Medical, alongside partnerships with the Dallas Cowboys.
Brad Hogan, CEO of Pinnacle, emphasised the importance of this acquisition in the company's growth journey. He stated, “From opening our doors in 1998 to marking our third acquisition in less than five years, Pinnacle’s story is one of organic growth and an ability to evolve ahead of the curve.” He highlighted the alignment of values with INNOV8, noting that both companies share a culture of creative ambition and a commitment to forging lasting partnerships.
Donna Shea, CEO of INNOV8, discussed the advantages of joining forces with Pinnacle, stating that today’s brands require teams that integrate creative leadership and technical production seamlessly. She explained, “Joining Pinnacle allows us to deepen that ecosystem — expanding our reach and broadening our bench of strategists, creatives, and craftsmen to unlock new possibilities for the brands who trust us.”
The deal will integrate INNOV8 into the Pinnacle brand, allowing its talented team and ongoing projects to continue as part of Pinnacle’s unified approach to experiential marketing. While the specific terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, this strategic move reflects ongoing growth and evolution in the experiential marketing sector, where investments have doubled and immersive brand engagement has become increasingly essential.
This acquisition also signals a shift in how experiential marketing is executed, with national rollouts needing local nuances. The incorporation of AI into the sector, as well as the transformation of in-person experiences into digital engagements, further adds to the complexity of delivering impactful brand experiences.
Pinnacle's acquisition of INNOV8 signifies a commitment to maintaining a competitive edge in the dynamic environment of experiential marketing, leveraging both companies' expertise. As brand experiences continue to evolve in response to changing consumer expectations, this merger positions Pinnacle to unlock new opportunities for growth and innovation in the marketing landscape.
