Moburst Puts Its New $11.8m War Chest to Work With Hyperzon Acquisition
Moburst has acquired Amazon specialist Hyperzon, wasting little time in putting the $11.8 million it raised from Chrysalis Holdings to work.
The deal adds 30 people and a complete Amazon growth operation to Moburst’s expanding agency group. Hyperzon will continue trading as Hyperzon by Moburst, becoming a specialist ecommerce unit within the wider business. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded by five entrepreneurs who bootstrapped the company, Hyperzon has worked with more than 150 brands across supplements, cosmetics, fitness, wellness, home, pet and baby products. Its clients include Evereden, Primal Harvest, goPure and Uproot Clean.
Hyperzon claims its clients achieve an average 200% increase in Amazon sales within eight months.
That is the capability Moburst has bought: not another team capable of purchasing Amazon ads, but an operation that understands how to make products win inside the marketplace.
Amazon is not just another media channel
Moburst already offered Amazon advertising through its paid-media division. But buying ads on Amazon is not the same as running an Amazon business.
Success on the platform depends on the relationship between advertising, sales velocity, organic rankings, product listings, reviews, inventory, pricing and storefront performance. A campaign can appear unprofitable in isolation while still improving a product’s organic position and increasing its overall sales.
That requires specialist knowledge, constant intervention and accountability for what happens after someone clicks.
Hyperzon brings that expertise across marketplace strategy, listing optimisation, content, creative, storefront management, media buying and ongoing account performance.
For Moburst, the deal closes a significant hole in its claim to offer clients the entire growth journey. It can already create awareness, buy media, build digital products and drive discovery. It can now follow the customer all the way into one of the world’s most powerful buying environments.
CEO Gilad Bechar described Amazon as a place where consumers discover, validate and purchase from brands, rather than a separate ecommerce channel.
That distinction explains why Moburst bought a company instead of hiring a handful of Amazon specialists.
The acquisition machine is accelerating
The deal comes just six weeks after Chrysalis Holdings invested $11.8 million in Moburst, taking an equity stake and providing capital for acquisitions and AI product development.
Hyperzon is also part of a wider consolidation strategy.
Moburst acquired Uproar PR in December 2024, adding public relations capabilities, and later bought podcast-booking agency Kitcaster. It is now using acquisitions to assemble specialist disciplines around a common client base rather than attempting to build every service organically.
The commercial logic is straightforward.
Hyperzon gains access to Moburst’s international clients, AI capabilities and broader marketing operation. Moburst gains 30 Amazon specialists, more than 150 client relationships and a service it can immediately sell across its existing portfolio.
Hyperzon chief operating officer Hristo Arakliev said joining Moburst would allow the agency to take its Amazon expertise into a larger digital ecosystem and expand its reach.
That cross-selling opportunity is where much of the value will be created. Moburst does not need to find an entirely new market for Hyperzon’s services; it already has brands buying strategy, creative, media and digital transformation work.
Now it can sell them Amazon growth as well.
The $11.8 million investment gave Moburst the firepower to accelerate its acquisition strategy.
Hyperzon shows exactly what it intends to do with it: buy proven specialists, plug them into the group and own more of every client’s growth.
