Brand Revolution Acquires DDMC Event Design to Bolster Events Capability
Brand Revolution has acquired Belgian events production company DDMC Event Design, continuing an aggressive acquisition programme that has transformed the creative agency into an international marketing group.
The July 9 deal is Brand Revolution’s fourth major acquisition in 18 months and gives the group an established events operation across Europe.
Headquartered in Brussels, DDMC also operates through hubs in Paris, Strasbourg and Lisbon. Its team has spent more than 35 years designing and producing large-scale events across Europe and other international markets. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Four acquisitions, one increasingly obvious strategy
Brand Revolution began its acquisition programme in early 2025 with Brilliant, a Leeds-based social-first creative agency. It added Denver creative studio Lumenati in October 2025, bringing Emmy Award-winning production capabilities into the group.
In March 2026, it acquired fresh id, expanding into custom merchandise, point-of-sale materials, packaging and global sourcing through offices in Germany and Hong Kong. DDMC now adds large-scale event design and production.
The result is a group capable of taking a client from social and creative strategy through content production, physical merchandise and packaging, and into live brand experiences.
This is not diversification for the sake of appearing full-service. Brand Revolution is buying specialist teams with established clients, talent and geographic reach, then connecting them through one international platform. Each acquisition gives the group another service to sell across its existing client base. It also gives the acquired agencies access to markets and capabilities they would have struggled to build independently.
DDMC gets the global platform it was missing
DDMC already serves international clients, but its management team said the company had begun to outgrow its existing structure.
Joining Brand Revolution gives the Brussels business access to a wider international network without dismantling what made it successful. “We have acquired profound know-how in the event business for more than 35 years,” said Frank Anthierens of DDMC. “Brand Revolution will be our global partner to bolster our international development.”
DDMC’s Alex Cautaerts said the partnership would allow the company to support existing international clients in overseas markets, while Stefan Ponnet said the business was ready to move beyond the limitations of its current platform.
The entire DDMC team will remain in Brussels. Its staff, client relationships and active projects will continue without interruption. That continuity matters. Brand Revolution is not buying a collection of client contracts and stripping out the operation. It is keeping an experienced events team intact and giving it a larger commercial machine.
Brand Revolution builds out EMEA
For Brand Revolution, the acquisition provides immediate scale in a market that would have taken years to build organically. DDMC brings local leadership, production expertise and an established European delivery network. Brand Revolution brings a broader client base, global reach and complementary services that can be sold alongside DDMC’s events capabilities.
CEO Alisa Haynes said DDMC’s focus on trust, integrity and treating every project personally made it a natural fit with Brand Revolution’s Return on Emotion framework. The cultural fit may help hold the businesses together, but the commercial logic is even clearer.
Brand Revolution has bought four different capabilities across the UK, US, Germany, Hong Kong and continental Europe in less than two years. It is no longer simply expanding an agency. It is assembling a global creative production group, one specialist acquisition at a time.
